Blogging: The weekend

So I've decided (for anyone that actually follows this blog) that I'm going to be just blogging about not only what I'm working on, but life in general.  Whether it's what I did this weekend, or shoots/designs I'm working on, that's what you'll find here.

As odd as it sounds, I want to be able to look back in a year at all these posts and realize how far I've come.  Looking forward to sharing this journey with you, and hopefully something I say or share will sink in and make an impact on your life.

I started a local cars and coffee event here in Siloam Springs, and this Saturday was the first meet, and I'd say it turned out pretty well!  You'll see images every weekend of this event from now on.  It sure is nice to be able to build a community... here's a few of my favorite images from it.

Ran into this guy and his bike when I was washing my car for Cars and Coffee on Friday night, just had to get a shot of it.

And this is what was going on in my house the whole weekend -- Borderlands 2.  I don't play videogames often, but I thought I might as well take pictures of my friends when they're around.

[DRIVE]America - Audi R8 at the Dunes

I'm super busy right now moving in to a new house and catching up on a ton of shoots, but here's a teaser image from my second shoot for [DRIVE]America that I took a white R8 up to the Indiana Dunes and shot there.  Incredible location, incredible car = great shots.
Enjoy, and happy driving!

Indianapolis Cars and Coffee Commission

I was commissioned to design business cards and a well designed identity for the local Cars and Coffee meet here in Indianapolis.  It has definitely been fun working with Casey this summer and getting to know a ton of people at Cars and Coffee -- not to mention rounding up some good business!  It's been a blast - check out the business card design!

Go green.

Shot this Tesla a few weeks ago for a private commission and I'd definitely have to say I'd go green for this car.

0-60 in 3.7 seconds.

All torque - all the time.

If the recharge length wasn't so long I'd call it a top of the list car for me.  Sadly, a 12 hr recharge for 300 miles isn't a plus for me.  But hey, it's a gorgeous car, so enjoy the eye candy.

The horse is out of the stable.

Some eye candy for all you loyal blog readers.

Enjoy, and happy driving!

Oh it's 458 time.

Finally shot my dream car.  Not in my dream color (white), but hey, beggars can't be choosers huh?
I met with the owner and we went to Crown Hill Cemetery to shoot (surprisingly great location actually!).

It. Was. Hot.  That pretty much sums up this shoot.  The weather was hot. The car was hot. These pictures are going to be hot. It was awesome. Got some sun, got some great images, and made a good contact -- thats why I love my job.  Oh, and I got to sit in it. And that's what this picture is.  More to follow!  Thanks for stopping by, and happy driving!
